Love 2. America Storyline

Love 2. America tells the story of the final 24 hours of the romance of two lovers, ANTON (30) and BEATRICE(34). After 24 hours, Anton is going to leave, forever, to a place far away where he will start a new life; Beatrice will return to David(32), her husband. Entwined with memories, dreams and thoughts of the future, their story slowly departs from reality and becomes the universal story of two lovers at the end of their love.

Cinematic nonsense

Have it 2 stars for the studied and elaborated cinematography. Other than that you’re in for endless pointless dialogues on love and God, recited by actors who seem to read them from a page. No story whatsoever. But hey, at least it’s nicely shot.

One of the best Romanian movies I’ve see

I saw this in the cinema after a friend warmly recommended it. And it was a blast. I’ve seen good Romanian movies, but I had never seen a beautiful Romanian movie. Every shot is like a painting. And the whole movie is very strong. It is not recommended for those seeking regular Romanian movies with social issues on display, gypsies, and drug-addicts. This is a beautiful love story for mature audiences.
