Apartment 413 Movie Reviews
i can tell…
You a fairytail, but the director of this flick really makes it a weird and confusive far better one than i do so do let yourself into the biohazardness of the urban interface, and all the rings and things we buy to become satisfied with our lives and pregnancies, and the girlfriend that never ends within the realms of a schizofrenellian groundhog day like comedy drama horror thriller.
Acting is awesomely good, editing done by an expert, music and direction and plotwork are devastatingly good, and if you dont find the clue to this mystery, then have another look. Usually i stop films like this due to the philosophical abstractions in such plots, but you really made me hanging on mr producer.
An 8 from the grrumpy old man, its a do or die kinda film, but ai kainda laiked it.
Utter banal, insipid tripe
Shill reviews are in already I see, so my turn to give this the proper rating and review it truly deserves.
It is quite the most boring load of old, smelly, rancid pants and completely incomprehensible with a pretentious cherry on top!
You cannot polish a tvrd but do not worry, they did not even try!
I watched it so you do not have to – yip it is that bad!
Pointless Journey
Sorry, indie filmmakers. Maybe start with a better script?
The setup is okay. But a guy losing his marbles has been done a million times (and brilliantly with “The Shining” 4 decades ago), so why tell THIS story? How is it different? What makes this story so special to tell?
And unlike “The Shining” which had a significant Supernatural component — none of that is present here. Nothing supernatural, just a guy who’s crazy to begin with (though we don’t know that at the beginning), and proceeds to lose it more & more during the movie. Ho-hum.
And the big “twist” near the end, that his pregnant girlfriend doesn’t even exist…? Yawn.
The only reason this gets more than one star, is because the actors were good. But there’s no depth to this story, there’s nothing “special” about this story. In short, it’s entirely skippable.
