Napa Ever After Storyline

After inheriting her estranged grandmother’s vineyard in Napa Valley, Cassandra (Boutté), a very single high-powered attorney, takes a sabbatical from her job to renovate the property that was the source of the fractures within her family. Once an award-winning winery and destination wedding venue, Eloi Vineyards is in disrepair and on the brink of bankruptcy. With the help of Alec (Lawrence), a handsome local widower, Cassandra sets out to reclaim her family legacy by reviving the vineyard in time for her dear friend Lena (Tiffany Yvonne Cox, “Reasonable Doubt”) to have the first wedding there in years. Through the process, Cassandra discovers more about her family and opens her heart to a love like she’s never known.

Excellent in every way

Fantastic, cool, funny actors – from the leads to the supporting cast – so well chosen! Fine story about family, loyalty, friends and not to forget – a little bit of romance. What a lovely location, vineyard, house and village – one felt immediately at home there. Of course, the story about the inheritance of such a place can’t come without stumbling blocks and greedy bankers, but it did totally without telling lies, silly misunderstandings or overhearing something and getting it wrong, like we know from other movies of the genre. It was refreshing and so well played.

I will watch it again, what a pleasure!
