Lost Soulz Storyline
Sol is an aspiring young rapper and musician, struggling to fund his studio sessions and living with his best friend Wesley’s family. When he meets a group of touring hip-hop musicians, Sol decides to take a chance, leaning into his creative dreams and impulsively joining them on a road trip through Texas. Great Film, Unique Perspective
Had the opportunity to catch this film in Pittsburgh at CMU International Film Festival. So grateful it could come to town.
The Director, Katherine Propper has a keen eye for capturing the authentic voice of Gen Z. Few narrative features have the kind of spontaneity that at times feels unscripted, yet weaves together with fantastic collaborative (and scripted) musical performances from talented young musicians. We’ll be seeing a lot of these performers and the director in the coming years, and this film will be looked back on as an amazing musical and film foray where the careers of all involved took a major turn.
See it now, and see it in theaters. You’ll thank me later for the recommendation!

LostSoulz is a coming-of-age story about a young rapper named Sol (Sauve Sidle) who is trying to make it in the music industry. The film follows Sol as he travels across Texas with his friends, trying to find his place in the world. Along the way, he deals with loss, love, and the challenges of pursuing his dreams.
The film is beautifully shot and features a great soundtrack with contributions from some of the biggest names in indie music, including Micro TDH, The Brackney Brothers, Zig, Malachi Mabson, Seven Malloul, Sauve Sidle, Andres Belloso, and Mauricio Gomez. The music perfectly captures the film’s atmosphere and helps to tell the story.
The acting is also top-notch, with Sidle giving a standout performance as Sol. He is believable as a young man who is trying to find his way in the world. The supporting cast is also excellent, with each actor bringing their own unique personality to the film.
LostSoulz is a powerful and moving film that will stay with you long after you watch it. It is a must-see for anyone who loves music, independent film, or coming-of-age stories.
