Jokes? Where are they? Not in this special!
It’s no spoiler to say there are no jokes in this show. Peppermint spends most of the show talking about sex and adds nothing to the conversation, except one of the most banal deliveries ever. I think she’s a great performer but comedy is not her strong suit. The audience barely registers during this 50 minute special because there’s nothing funny going on. If you’re gonna use yourself as the focal point in your special, have something unique to say. Peppermint seems unprepared and thinks flipping her hair and sticking her ass out are comedy gold. Nope. Sorry. This special makes the Darienne Lake one look like a comedy masterpiece.
