Bands on the Run Movie Reviews
>tfw the animatics look better than this
Watching the review of this movie and seeing the comments can be a field day, and I’ve seen some that said that the storyboards look better the actual movie.
I couldn’t agree more.
I liked the bands themselves, as I was able to deduce their personalities as a family of sorts:
Daisy – The Crybaby Little Sister Roxie – The Tomboy Older Sister Edison (I call him Ed-Boi) – The Stand-Up Comedian Brother Ray – The Cautious Father Amelia – The Caring Mother Stretch – The Badass Uncle
If it was something like Small Soldiers, I would’ve cared for it more. But as it is, it’s meh. The voice acting was decent enough for the main 6, didn’t care for anyone else, cringy editing, cringier animation (from China, no less), so on, so forth.
The whole thing is on YouTube for free, I’d prefer that you watch it while high and/or drunk. If not, don’t even bother.
So Weird!
I found out about this movie from RebelTaxi. I got it on DVD, too. It is a bad and crazy movie. The editing is poor, the animation looks primitive, and its so cheap overall. Also, WHY DID ENTERTAINMENT ONE RELEASE THIS STUFF ON DVD?!?!?!?!? I mean, that’s crazy!
