Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 Movie Reviews

6.5/10. It’s a Good Time!

This is by no stretch of the imagination the best horror film ever made, but it’s also by no stretch of the imagination the worst horror film ever made. If you enjoy slasher horror films, you will definitely get a kick out of this (think Saw, I Spit On Your Grave, Hostel- or anything by Eli Roth really, if you enjoy those, check this out). It includes a couple of twists that keep the story engaging enough for the run time, and it avoids following the same formula as the first film. There are a couple of comedic lines/scenes, as is to be expected. However, it’s mostly an on par slasher horror film, that uses its exisiting characters creatively, and the new ones sparingly to keep them interesting. The writing, directing and acting is not Oscar worthy, but it is definitely better than a lot of what is being put out right now. Despite the amusing and silly premise of Winnie the Pooh slaughtering people, this film is surprisingly entertaining. It delivers on what it promises, quality time with your mates without bending the mind! If you grab a couple beers, I’m sure you won’t hate this. Just remember to appreciate it for what it is. It’s not trying to win awards. It’s trying to entertain you.

Better than the first, but not the glowing 9/10 or 10/10 that the reviews are saying.

I watched the first one, I was curious. It killed an hour and half and wasn’t bad-but not good. This one I liked the story of the Frankenstein monsters, so I give it two stars better than the first movie.

It was strange in this movie as well, at one point a boy is watching the first movie at home and apparently that movie was a sort of made-for-tv-rendition of events that happened in their town. Everyone thinks Christopher Robin did all the killings of the first movie and nobody believes him.

I thought the abduction twist and confession was good. The rave murder spree scene was fun I thought.

The special effects were in line with the first one – not good. However I liked it. It isn’t one I will ever own or even watch again though.

Number 2 is fittingly a load of Pooh

I am not sure what the people who gave this movie a 9 or 10 are smoking. This movie is utter garbage. The first one was bad yes but the second one isn’t better. Does a higher body count equal a better movie? Seems like a lot of people think so. Sure this is a low-budget movie like the first one but a bad movie is a bad movie regardless of budget. The acting is a touch better but that hardly makes up for the rest of it. The special effects are not great, the music is bad and the story is bad. A movie like this even having a “story” is laughable at best. The kills aren’t even creative either. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
