Exopolitics Movie Reviews

After you’ve realized that the poster is a little misleading, this movie is actually pretty decent

Are we really under alien siege? Or is it all just a mind trip by a lunatic?

Once you’ve come into that path, Exopolitics is quite fun. I particularly enjoyed the way it is “stitched” together, appearing linear but actually being asymmetrical on a meta level.

Tom lives a seemingly great life, about to step up to the next level and wanting to celebrate with his love. But his girlfriend wants to take the relationship to the next level too – much to the displeasure of Tom, who takes off after a decisive conversation, only to wake up the next day in a hilarious scenario: the world is being invaded and undermined by aliens. On top, he can’t get in touch with his girl anymore. That’s where the psycho trip begins.

I enjoyed it. Good pacing, great atmosphere – the only weird thing is that most side characters play better than the main actor. Apart from that, I had a really good time.

Nobody to review

A scifi for the Oprah network? Has anyone managed to watch the whole thing? Maybe it has a marvelous ending. I will never know….not even sure I can come up with 150 characters to qualify as a acceptable review. Kinda like doing that 500 word story for freshman English where you just stretch it out with mindless verbiage. Hay! That explains the screen play at least.

The Psychedelic Sixties

A film from the psychedelic Sixties. Tune in, turn on, drop out. Make love, not war. Sock it to me, baby. If you just want to… sort of… look at stuff, here’s a movie to watch. So, aliens invade. But we don’t see them… or much of anything; except the schizophrenic hallucinations and delusions of some dude. Seen on Tubi, the free streaming site, which has better movies than this; and now, live TV.
