The Killer in My Backyard Movie Reviews
Awful acting
The plot has been done before so I knew I wasn’t going to see anything new. But the acting was beyond awful. The guy who plays Josh was downright embarrassing. Try a new gig, dude, acting is not for you. The 2 cops were also laughably bad with the few lines they had, not to mention the scene and dialogue were stupid and unrealistic.
As usual, nice setting Lifetimes gives us. Points only for that.
Not worth the watch.
Typical Lifetime fare!
Not as bad as other reviewers say it was, imho. Eric and Allyson buy a home and rent out their guest house to Eric to make the mortgage payments. But, unfortunately for them, Eric is not who he says he is. He has the hots for Allyson and tries to break up the happy couple but will he succeed? Tune in to find out but it was worth a watch, anyway!.
“You’re Not the Only One Who Knows Their Way Around a Kitchen”
The Lifetime Movie Machine churns out another one. Don’t the writers get tired of reusing the same formulas all the time? The same plots, over and over again? The same “twists” over and over again? Gaping plot holes you can drive a truck through?
I guess not. How else can they keep producing around two movies a week?
If you’ve seen any of the previous Lifetime “obsessed tenant” movies, you’ve already seen this one. Skip it.
