An undercover cop goes to find and kill a crime lord. However, when he realizes that the crime lord’s business intentions are good and he has his own challenges, he needs to decide his next step and help the crime lord change his life.

Misfire

Half baked Political Gangster Drama

Cliched gangster story , somehow they tried to give different treatment to it but failed in writing part . Inconsistent narration , mostly felt flat and lack of intriguing . Dialogues were poorly written and forced punch dialogues were totally odd . There were many characters but none of them were strong enough to shine , even AGR character . Even making was poor , scenes mostly lacked its continuity . Cast wise , Simbhu presence literally carried AGR and the whole movie , except few cast others did good job . Technical wise , cinematography was good , below average editing and poor dubbing . ARR’s BGM and songs were mind blowing .

Overall , except for the Simbhu’s screen presence and ARR’s music movie had nothing much to deliver .

Pathu Thala – Failed Thala

Nothing new except there is no heroine for STR and he is show up in interval only. Other than that it is just a cliche old masala gangster drama. Almost half of the people in my theater walked out and slept in seat. I myself tried to watch it with open eyes but I couldn’t because its so boring and too much of build up masala for the hero. If obelli Krishna wants to praise the hero, he should do it a documentary about him not a 2 and half hour movie. Not worth single penny except for the climax scene. AR Rahman’s Bgm was too good but its not adapt to this type of commercial masala movie. Total waste of time. His Maanadu & VTK are his career best till date.

Pathu Thalaikum Thalai Veli – 80s movie!!

Dai enna da… padum edukringa !!

CM gets kidnapped. CM gets killed. 100 lorries cross a railway track by stopping a train. Bloody hell… thats how we made movies in the 80s. Things have changed. If you are going to make such stories, look up KGF or something like that, where you can make an impact with every scene and screenplay.

Bad direction, competed with mediocre acting, were only outshined by a old rehashed story to boot.

The best is the twist in the middle to make a hero out of a gangster. We did this with Nayakan, and you cant make a good copy. Instead you make an unbelievable story.
