‘Til Kingdom Come Storyline

Millions of American Evangelicals are praying for the State of Israel. Among them are the Binghams, a dynasty of Kentucky pastors, and their Evangelical congregants in an impoverished coal mining town. They donate sacrificially to Israel’s foremost philanthropic organization, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, because they fervently believe the Jews are crucial to Jesus’s return. This film traces this unusual relationship, from rural Kentucky to the halls of government in Washington, through the moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem and the annexation plan of the West-Bank. With unparalleled access, the film exposes a stunning backstory of the Trump and Netanyahu administrations, where financial, political and messianic motivations intersect with the apocalyptic worldview that is insistently reshaping American foreign policy toward Israel and the Middle-East.

‘Til Kingdom Come Movie Reviews

What a weak documentary

There is so much more history to be told about Israel and this doc either avoided it or the creators didn’t do their research.

They could’ve delved into the history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict a lot more as there is a lot to be said.

They only used the Evangelicals to talk about Trump and touched a little on why they donate so much to Israel when it can be said that they have no business donating to a country of people who don’t believe in Jesus Christ and blatantly reject the Christian faith.

How I see it is Israel is and has always been a Jewish country (history confirms this) and the Palestinians are just the left behind people of the invading Muslims who tried over and over again to claim Israel.

The Evangelicals are dumb to think that the people who killed their God and never stood up for them care about them.

not balanced enough…

Its just a big biblical business plan of injustice both to the world and also to the poor and underpriveledged inhabitants of their own nation, namely the usa. The pastors of united states of america runs big moneymachine coorperations, cant people just open their shuttered eyes and stop donating to enrich the rich and impowerish themselves, just because of collective bad conscience. .

the grumpy old man aint rich nor poor, aint political nor religious, more an observer than a warmonger, and definately not a racist, i just think that a sideglance into their own neighbourhoods of social decay and extreme poverty in the usa should come first, cause israel is a superpower, and definately one of the wealthiest nations on earth based on gdp pr inhabitant. Prayer should be enough…

its a ultrapolarized documentary where we follow the well dressed part of american society, i doesnt give much factual info other than building monetary bounds between jews and evangelical christians, a bragging parade worse than the goebilianistic trojan horses ever made in history of mankind.

So do keep believing by all means, but be scrutinazingly aware when watching this film.a no recommend as curriculastic material.

Good job, BBC

For years I’ve been gravitating to the BBC app for my news. They seem to be the current version of what the NYT once was, or as close to.

Documentaries these days, however well made, are unapologetically partial. It behooves anyone purporting to document with a camera to present both sides of every coin. A worthy documentary in the present, all things considered, is one that makes you think deeply and leaves you undecided.

This one does the job.
