Darkling Storyline

amazing film for reflection

Milic (director) intended to make a film metaphor about evil and paranoia, about people who are isolated and in constant fear of what the evening brings. The fear in them is so strong that it becomes difficult to distinguish what is real and what is not. Darkling pours from the outside world into the souls of the heroes, slowly eating them from within.

For people with brains.

Amazing.

So intense. Story, sounds, effects…in my opinion one of the best dramas in the last 5,6 years. If you are not familiar with the situation on Kosovo in the 2004. Read about it and watch the movie. Masterpiece.

Otherwise AMAZING acting, Danica did an amazing job with the Serbian accent from Kosovo, as well as did the little girl (her daughter in the movie) for a first big role the girl did an amazing job, the script is superb, and the whole scenery is depicted very well.

The movie itself (aside from the whole background) is about how humans cope with fear, anxiety and everything that comes with it. Very emotional and deep. I highly recommend this movie to everyone, and I must say that this is one of the best Serbian dramas I’ve seen in the past 10 years or more!
