The Hansen kids are in a jam. Adam and his best friend Duffy have gotten their hands on some tickets for the Headless Horseman concert, and his sister Chelsea has a date with her dreamy boyfriend Peter. The only problem is they’re both grounded. Chelsea and Adam will do whatever it takes to get their mom Lynette out of the house, even if it includes a chance meeting with a very mysterious man. Haven’t seen this in years till today

Mom’s Got A Date With A Vampire is a Horror/Comedy from the Disney Channel back in the early 00s and tells the tale of two kids who want to set their mom(played by Caroline Rhea from Sabrina The Teenage Witch) on a date,as she hasn’t been in a relationship since her divorce. But when the two young teenagers find out they are grounded,the boy finds an ad on looking for love and chooses Wolfbane. However one day they are at a supermarket where their mom bumps into a handsome man named Dimitri(played by Charles Shaugnessy from The Nanny)and the two hit it off which of course the kids are delighted with. But of course judging by the title of this film Dimitri is really a vampire as one of the kids spotted him changing into a generically bad CGI bat in an alleyway and must stop him before he has their mom under his spell.

Yes this film isn’t the best and I haven’t seen this film in years since I was a kid so I haven’t seen it since but if you are in the mood for an average Halloween film check it out.

Hey, it’s Disney…

Well, for a Disney Movie, I would have to say that this was pretty good. Obviously, it has no artistic value… But it is pretty entertaining. If you want a good time, but don’t want to have to concentrate very hard on plot, ect. this is a good movie. The kid who played Adam did very well, I thought. This could launch a good career.

I love this movie! I watch it every Halloween. Matt O’Leary is such an amazing actor. I like all his movies, that i’ve seen. I haven’t seen spy-kids cause they’re to little kid for me. But in “Frailty” and “Domestic Disturbance”. Matt was just great. I love the disney channel movies but the seasonal ones usually aren’t that good. But Mom’s got a date with a vampire is just cool.
