Young adult sci-fi
Speaking as someone way beyond young adult age, I’m watching this and it’s not bad. Though it would probably help if I had a bit of YA angst to help me relate.
Given certain assumptions about the main character, such as how come she didn’t notice that she had to plug herself into the mains to recharge overnight? There are other details where it would be difficult for Aisha to pass herself off as human. Programming emotions must have been tricky.
On the plus side, Aisha is gorgeous. And on the whole it kept my attention throughout. And it presented some interesting concepts and conundrums. There are a few continuity glitches along the way, probably caused by the way it’s been assembled from small episodes.
I’m hoping it has a happy ending but I’m not sure it’s heading that way.
